Description
Neonatal IV insertions are critical yet difficult procedures due to the small, fragile veins of newborns. With just over 53% of first attempts failing, each missed insertion increases the risk of infection, treatment delays, and long-term complications. Despite the high stakes, nurses often receive no hands-on training specific to neonatal IV placement before working with real patients, learning instead through trial and error. Our neonatal training simulation aims to accelerate the IV placement learning curve to protect patients and empower nurses from the start.
