Team Need ECE is attempting to replace the need space consuming pressure sensors by use of a strain gauge. The current process for applying these strain gauges takes extensive training and time. Team Need ECE is designing a process to reduce the overall time it takes to apply a strain gauge to different pipe materials and gather the results from the strain gauges to ensure that readings are comparable to the pressure sensors. The project is aimed for untrained individuals to apply strain gauges by use of a device for a clean and precise application.
