Description
Our project focuses on improving Georgia Power's material ordering process. The team analyzed a solution involving reducing material options and devised a strategy to mitigate risks and maximize benefits of its implementation. For deliverables for the client, the team provided a cost-benefit analysis based on stochastic simulation to maintain the solution along with supply chain strategies to reduce inventory costs, material costs, and software implementation costs.
