BeatBox is an interactive multi-sensory musical experience in a phone booth-like enclosure. The prototype enclosure is fitted with custom designed and built two-way loudspeakers, individually addressable LED strips, a gesture recognition camera and processor, and an internal monitor with arcade buttons for user interfacing. The prototype provides the ability to add features in the future such as a mobile app interface, a touch screen, and advanced lighting features like projection.
