Based on guidelines provided by the Vertical Flight Society (VFS) for their annual competition, we are designing an unmanned rotorcraft vehicle to complete the specified missions. There are two parts of the mission. The first mission is a long-endurance mission in which the vehicle serves as a communications relay to support the disaster relief effort. The second is a shorter mission in which our vehicle delivers disaster relief supplies to a helipad.
