Our client currently provides their client, municipalities, with real time data showing the PCI of the roads in their network. With this data, many municipalities follow a worst-first methodology which is not cost efficient because the cost of repairing a road increases as the road degrades. RMT wants to provide a service along with the data they provide that will offer a tailored methodology for a given municipality that will help them balance road maintenance and a fixed budget.
