Our project focuses on designing a crop production module within a surface habitat to sustain crews on extended NASA missions. Our approach involves selecting suitable crops, designing growth systems, integrating automation processes, sanitation methods, and managing water and resources efficiently. Ultimately, our goal is to demonstrate sustainable crop production within a closed bioregenerative environment, enhancing the success of extended surface missions while prioritizing crew well-being.
