The focus of our project is to reduce the incidence of uterine perforations and false passageway creations during cervical dilation. The CerviCare prototype is the first metal dilator that allows for complete cervical dilation with just one initial device insertion. Additionally, this device allows for dilation in narrow cervical canals, a feature not accomplished by any other dilator on the market.
The CerviCare dilator contributes to enhanced patient safety and increased procedural efficiency in eleven different gynecological procedures.
