Description
Our senior design capstone project is an educational tool designed for children around the age of 7, aimed at fostering an interactive and engaging introduction to STEAM concepts. Essentially, it's a modern, tech-enhanced take on the classic Mr. Potato Head toy. The central piece, the "main body," serves as a customizable base where various "appendages" can be attached, each bringing a distinct interactive element to the mix. These appendages carry different functions and characteristics, providing children with a variety of hands-on learning experiences.

Through playful interaction with the different appendages, children can explore various STEAM concepts in an intuitive and fun manner. The goal is to spark curiosity and foster a love for learning in the realms of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics from a young age. Furthermore, the software design underlying the kit is planned to be adaptable, making it possible to continually introduce new learning modules and experiences, keeping the engagement fresh and encouraging continuous exploration and learning.
