The project aims to inventory FPL equipment accurately by gathering data from RFID tags attached to power pole assets and sending them to a database via an RFID reader. The RFID reader will be placed on a drone, allowing data collection from a distance. Each asset will have an RFID tag containing specific information, such as GPS location, model, and serial numbers. This data is then uploaded to a database after the drone’s patrol.
