Description
The aerospace industry strives to create a better customer experience for passengers in first and business class in order to command high rates. Part of doing this is having a class divider, so that these patrons have more privacy and access to limited resources. Current class dividers are made using aramid fiber honeycomb, fiberglass, and the customers add a decorative laminate. However, this class divider adds weight and cost to the plane and must meet Federal Aviation Administration standards. The current design is low in manufacturability and higher in cost and weight than desired.
