The aim of this project is to design a device that identifies open seats in a room. The idea stems from the problem of finding available study spaces in a library. Thus, the initial scope of the project will pertain to identifying open seats in specific sections of the Georgia Tech library. Once a design that works in that environment is established, the project can be expanded to operate in any room.
