Description
Peloton has leveraged our team to develop a Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) model to improve inventory management practices. The model will consider all middle mile distribution centers and final mile delivery centers throughout their supply chain network. For our purposes we will focus primarily on Peloton’s US operations, but there exists the possibility of international implementation. The model’s goal will be to provide pointed recommendations, within a certain margin of error, on the appropriate amount of inventory Peloton should hold at each middle mile and final mile location amidst a fluctuating demand.
