The stationary rowing machine has long been a fixture of the group-fitness class, but post-pandemic exercise has moved out of the commercial gym and into the home, where expert trainers are hard to find. Rowbotics has developed RowMotion, a technological system to collect motion data while the user rows, with the goal of analyzing the user’s rowing motion and providing useful, real-time feedback to supplement the use of personal trainers.
