This project is focused on developing a keyboard platform that utilizes many of the features common in other IoT devices such as communication networks, intelligence, and scalability. The keyboard will consist of standard keyboard hardware with the addition of “smart” features that will make it more flexible in terms of functionality and information. This will take place in the form of an additional software/hardware component that will allow the keyboard to communicate with a smartphone through a smartphone application.
