Down feathers are one the most commonly used and most effective materials used in insulating apparel. However, down jackets' thick and bulky size inhibits the wearer's movement and range of motion. Our project goal is to design a fabric structure that is significantly thinner than traditional down jackets while maintaining insulating performance.
