Sponsored, Our project is focused on designing a shoe-tying assistive device for upper limb impairment. Upper limb impairments are from a number of causes and the treatment is exercise therapy however function of the limb may not be regained. For that reason, completing the bimanual task of tying their shoes can be difficult and a device is needed to assist with the process of shoe-tying.
