Description
The proposed project is to design and build a protective N95 cover that can be attached easily and safely to baby carriers and/or strollers. Ideally a transparent barrier. Currently the only products available are for sun and/or rain, are not transparent and do not offer any safety against COVID-19 or other viruses. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the necessity/requirement for everyone to wear a mask, the need for a form of PPE for children too young to safely wear a mask has become very important. According to the CDC children under the age of two should not wear face coverings. The goal of this project is to create a safe, user friendly product that will allow parents to safely and in good conscience take their infant or toddler into public areas without an increased risk of COVID-19 transmission or infection.
