Lloyd’s Landing is a recreational lake front area for the City of Hiawassee. This park is facing erosion along banks near public parking and walkway areas that lead to a boat dock. The sediment load has the potential to impact the lake, and the rutting reduces the path accessibility and safety for visitors. Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) is proposed to mitigate the stormwater runoff impacts, improve the park’s aesthetics, and increase functionality.
