Our two phase project centers on the historic Watson Mill Covered Lattice Bridge, built in 1885. For the first stage of our project, we conducted a full scale structural analysis on the Watson Mill bridge to assess the current structural condition and develop an understanding of the iconic 'Town Lattice' structure. For the second phase of the project, we used the knowledge gained from the Watson Mill structural analysis to design and fabricate a new town lattice bridge for Beaverbrook Park in Atlanta, GA.
