Description
Scientific Games (SG) produces scratch-off lottery ticket games for its customers around the globe. Our project is focused on their Alpharetta production facility. While the Scientific Games production lines are already running efficiently, the company would like to decrease downtime from 24% to 21%, as their demand is projected to increase to approximately 28 billion STUs (Standard Ticket Units) in 2023. In 2021, the Alpharetta plant was able to produce 25.2 billion STUs, and the capacity thus far in 2022 is projected to be roughly the same. While steps are already being taken to upgrade machines and help increase capacity for the future, Scientific Games will need to find ways to bridge the production gap in the meantime.
