The Trace Smart Can is a compost bin that gets rid of the usual pain points of composting such as smell and pests by freezing compost via vapor compression cycle. The Trace Smart Can also uses IoT technology to let users know their waste habits. This project currently is targeted towards corporations and university campuses to help them meet their sustainability goals and help them audit waste more accurately.
