Description
Project TYKE is a cost-effective first-response mine and urban rescue robot made to retire the hazard placed upon the lives of rescue dogs. It has the ability to navigate rubble and survive harsh conditions (water, high/low temp) in order to explore for survivors using various sensors. TYKE democratizes search and rescue technology for third world countries and at the same time enables rapid responses, minimizing the number of casualties as the authorities will be aware of the locations of the survivors and can coordinate their rescue efforts accordingly.
